bulleted lists

I'm trying to bullet three lists on a page--right margin, center and left.
Using 'bullet style' in the format drop-down I succeed with the left hand
list. But when I try to bullet the center and left lists, the lists change
position, and no bullets. How does one create bulleted lists, apart from the
easy left side?

Sounds like an excellent question for a Microsoft Office
newsgroup - nothing to do with Windows XP!

We don't know what you are talking about. I'll guess - Disk Defragmenter cannot bullet anything.

Perhaps if you were to post this question in a newsgroup dedicated to
whichever specific word processing application you're using.....?

With WordPad you can only get the bullets, one for each line, unless you
create your own list.

• Bulleted List • Bulleted List • Bulleted List
• Bulleted List • Bulleted List • Bulleted List
• Bulleted List • Bulleted List • Bulleted List
• Bulleted List • Bulleted List • Bulleted List
• Bulleted List • Bulleted List • Bulleted List

Hold down the Alt key and type 0149 on the numeric keypad to get the
bullet ••••••••

You are posting in a Windows XP newsgroup. Windows XP doesn't produce
bulleted lists, but word processing applications do. There are lots of
different word processing applications on the market, and it's very
difficult to help you if you don't even tell us which one you are using.

Over and above that, even if you told us which word processing application
you were using, your question doesn't really belong here, but in a newsgroup
devoted to that particular word processor.
