Bullet indentation

I'm using FP 2003. I am using bullet lists within themes. In the team I want
to use, the picture bullet is right next to the start of the text. This looks
really bad. What I want to do is offset the bullet list indent so that the
text is a couple of pixels away from the picture bullet. I have tried
inserting a space before the text start and this makes it look a lot better.
But, if the bullet wraps to the next line, the wrapped text indent has not
changed and the text looks "wavy" on the left margin.

Any suggestions?

that's because theme'd bulleted lists are really just tables with images to
the left of the text.

what you may want to do is look into styling bulleted lists with .css, that
way you can have them exactly as you want:

here's a link to get started:

I have found that the best way to line up bullets is to insert them in a
separate column. I personally place them as Right aligned, then in the
Format/Paragraph box, make a space of about 0.2 cm After Text. This will
give a nice amount of distance from the text. If the bullet on preview does
not seem to lign up with the top of your text, manipulate the points before
text in the Paragraph box.

Use picture insert for the first bullet, then copy down for any others.
Hint: Select all of your bullet column, then in Cell properties, untick the
cell width box, or it is likely to be too wide.
