Bullet Indent

If I use a slide layout for bullets, it nicely indents the bullets. However,
I also have many slides where they might need a bulleted text box as part of
other content such as a diagram. When I insert a text box with bullets,
there are no indents, and it has to be manually adjusted. This also confuses
a lot of people where I am who can't figure out how to get the indent and
start adding spacing after the bullet and for the second line of the bullet.
Needless to say, a lot of time is consumed chasing those out. My suggestion
is that no matter what we use--a slide template or a text box, if it has
bullets in it, it should automatically indent the same way.

What you can do is to select the bulleted slide layout then resize the
placeholder and place it wherever you want. This way it always uses the
bulleted layout style from the design master. Just a thought (since I have
run into this problem as well).

I like this suggestion.

I often use the Format Painter to help with those manual textboxes. You
might have good luck teaching your users how to use it.
