For some reason I have decided on an ASUS P6t as it seems to have a nice balance of all the bells and whistles I could ultimately use in the near future, but of coarse most of the attached nomenclature about the board is greek to me. I intend to use the board with some processor intensive apps like Photoshop, Premiere, Punch (architectural 3D home design software), etc. This machine will be located in my home so occasionally I would like to learn some nifty games as well. I am not too concerned with speed as much as global capacity. I plan on installing 6gigs of physical ram. Other installations I'll deal with later before the money runs out. I need to understand about the board and what all the designations stand for specifically.

Good for you :)

You want recommendations or you just telling us about it?

Good luck with the build.
