Where can I find the cheapest parts available? There's this site I had
bookmarked, where it's an internet index of the cheapest computer parts.

If your in the Western US, you'll find it hard to beat the in-store prices
of Fry's Electronics, although their website outpost.com is substantially
higher priced. Just make sure you know exactly what you want before going
there ( their sales people are not the most qualified) and make sure there
isn't an open box sticker on the box.

If you are going to order parts over the internet, add at least 10% to the
final cost. You WILL have to RMA something someday. YOU pay the shipping
when that happens.

Try and get as much stuff locally as you can, even if it costs a bit more -
within reason of course.
