Build a green PC anyone?

I've never built any of my computers but have been
kicking around the idea lately

I came across this article in PC Mag that caught my
attention. It is abt building a "green" PC..... one
that uses electricity sparingly. See link

I'm not a hardware expert.... don't keep up on latest
and greatest..... but what do you experts think abt the
specs of this computer? Worth pursuing to build one?

I DO want a desktop PC that uses power sparingly...yet
has good performance.

Nuts. Power to the People, I say. Velikovsky won.
Why do we have to keep putting that in everybodys
face ? Makes me think the 60s generation is getting
senile. Peace, man !

After reading that article, all he did was build a PC with modern parts. I
would definitely use a larger and newer LCD monitor. The energy consumption
would not make a noticeable difference at all.
