bug with creating an appointment

I am beta testing Outlook 12, build 4017 for our company. In using the
calendar, with the previous version of outlook, you could select say a 2 hour
period and then right click....select 'new appointment' and it would use that
as the time parameter for the appointment. This current beta version, when i
do the same thing, only picks one of the half-hour segments and lets me
create a meeting....then i have to adjust the start and end time for the
meetings to what i really want.

this needs to be fixed.

This is in the Day view (please provide complete details)?

A good workaround for the present is to click New in the toolbar.

I'll log with Beta team as this is a key function that has worked in all
previous versions :( Saves a lot of clicks and mouse movements and is a
good use of right mouse menu.
