[BUG Report] "gonnasearch" toolbar

R

Randy Knobloch

MSAS false-flags the IE5 toolbar wallpaper BHO - plug-in as
"gonnasearch" toolbar. I the item is quarantined or removed the
toolbar wallpaper icon disappears - until it is removed from quarantine
or re-installed, whatever the case.

Ah, so that is what that is. I can confirm that the IE5 wallpaper add-on
is mis-identified as "gonnasearch", but when I un-quarantined it, I got
a script error and the wallpaper toolbar no longer worked. I can't blame
it on MS Anti-Spyware because I'm not sure it was working before. I'll
re-install and test again.

Of course, the wallpaper toolbar works fine after a re-install. I just
set the MSAS to ignore it until you fix the signature.

Same here, Kent - re-installed and ignored.
Of course, you mean, until 'SpyNet' fixes the signature ;)

By "you" I meant "Microsoft". "They" run Spynet, no? If "they" want to
outsource Spynet to "us", then let'"s" talk. ;-)
