Hi,

Apparently it's a IE add-on/plugin, or a browser unto itself. I googled,
found it and was asked to install a Japanese language pack, which I didn't
do. As to how you happened to come by it, I can't say. According to the page
that came up, it a free download. In control panel, check your add/remove
programs list. If it's there, remove it. Also, run AdAware and SpyBot S&D to
help cleanse your system of spyware/malware. If you don't have these two
utilities, search google and d'load, install and use them at least once a
week.

Hi Curt,

Thanks. I've run AdAware and Norman Virus check and nothing untoward has
come up! However I'll follow the rest of your instructions and go from there.
This bug came to my attention when I visted a reputable site which I've
'bookmarked' but if I go to the same site which is in 'favourites' it dosen't
appear"!! Does my explanation make sense? Probably not!! Anyway thanks for
your help, I will let you know the outcome!

Hi Curt,
It's me again! You suggest I check my add/remove programs but what exactly
am I looking for??

Your explanation does make sense. I've even picked up some unexpected
software when reading newsgroups. Whenever you're online you never know what
surprises are waiting for you. The fact that the site you bookmarked is not
there anymore makes me think this bug browser is spyware of some sort.

Bug Browser should be listed if it installed itself like a normal program
would. Also, run a search for Bug Browser to see where it's located. Often
times deleting the folder where it's located just may solve the problem.
Good luck!!!

Hi Curt,

No joy I'm afraid! so I don't really know what to do next!! A friend has
suggessted that I delete ALL! cookies, before I do this I'd appreciate your
thoughts, my cookie setting are high anyway!! I don't know if there is any
connection but this has only come about since Service Pack 2 was downloaded!
Probably nothing to do with it but thought I'd mention it anyway!! Any more
suggestions please?
Many thanks
