buffer space

I have a system running Win2000. It only runs 1
application. I have tried to use the ftp to get a file
that is around 1235342 kb big. Ftp returns with an error
after starting to get the file with "No buffer space
supported" . What can I do to fix this problem. I can
get the same file from any 98 or xp machine and it works
perfectly. It makes no sense. Any info would be
appreciated.
 
Are you sure you have that much space on your PC? A cleanup, defrag, and
scandisk are probably in order...
]
