Buffer Hang up

Same problem as G.A. Rivera on radio transmissions.
Buffer hangs up at 34; interrupts the transmission, then
starts rebuffering again. Corrected this problems on
other computer using 98SE by config.sys Buffer=40. How
do I correct it on my XP home??? Help!
