I just RMA everything with brand new components. I had this problem from May
and i thought something is causing it so i RMA everything but its still there.
BSOD with Memory Management error, even though i got brand new sticks

Asus P5 N32 SLi Deluxe, PD 840, Geforce 7950 GX2 PQI DDR2 PC5400
Bios is updated so are the drivers from the websites
i just went under event viewer and i see alot of Red cross with ACPI
"IRQARB: ACPI BIOS does not contain an IRQ for the device in PCI slot 23,
function 0. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance."
and thats like 6 of them with different PCI Slot numbers
huh?
Help???

qUAan,

You replaced everything? What didn't you replace? Did you replace the
power supply? If you replaced everything, but not really everything, like
the power supply is still the same, then you should suspect a problem with
that item or items that you didn't replace. If you have the same problem
with the same power supply, try a different power supply. Just trying some
logic here.

Another thing to try is to set the BIOS to default values, but you likely
have already done that.

Another thing that can cause problems are the chipset drivers. Make sure
you have the latest chipset drivers compatible with your operating system.
You likely have already checked this out several times, right?

Another problem area are the video card drivers. You've also double checked
that, I suppose. But I'm just trying to cover the most obvious areas.

Maybe the motherboard is bad. Two in a row? Unlikely, but still possible.

Just some thoughts.

qUan,

OK, how about the BIOS settings; have you tried the default settings? How
much RAM is installed? Some motherboards and BIOSes can only handle so much
RAM, so that point could be important. Could it be Vista? I have no way of
knowing. I'm not aware of Vista having issues as you describe in these
systems, but I'm not knowledgeable about all things, so I don't know for
sure. Just some more thoughts.

qUAan,

Have you handed these issues over to Asus support? Is there an Asus forum
or support group, maybe at the Asus website? There has to be an answer, but
I'm out of ideas, and it looks as if others are too. I give up.

I have been the same problem. I have an ASUS motherboard, M2a-VM and my
message says it is PCI slot 7. Seems like a lot of folks are getting
different PCI slots numbers. I have the latest Bios, drivers, etc installed.
The systems runs for about an hour before the message appears.

I am running Vista Ultimate (64 bits) with 2 g of memory. I do not have
video card, I have an intergrated video. It is an ATI 1250.

I am looking for suggestions to try.

Thanks

Dave
