I do not know hot to proceed and would appreciate any help. I have tried to
read up on the web but have not yet fixed the issue.

Background:
Fresh install of Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit on a formatted non
partitioned hard drive.
Installed with 2G RAM fine.
Proceded to update and patch windows, video [EVGA 8600 GTS], and mainboard
[EVGA 680i]
Added other 2 dimms for a total of 4G. I have already done the vista memory
test on all 4 dimms [no errors found]
Updated the final 4 updates that I had:
1. Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB929735)
2. NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller
3. NVIDIA Corporation driver update for NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller
4. Windows DreamScene

I am getting the BSOD: STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF8000185DC11,
0xFFFFF98000CA4E58, 0xFFFFF98000CA4830)

Rolled back and reinstalled motherboard drivers [to overwrite Microsoft
updates, I think the ATA controllers might have been fighting] along with a
re-downloaded video driver install.

I have not had any troubles over the past few days. *crosses fingers*
Thanks
