I have W2K Pro. I am able to open the home page without
any problem, but as soon as I type the first letter of a
different web address, I get the following error:

Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be
closed down. You will need to rstart the program

An error log will be generated.

Please Help. My operating system is W2K Pro.

If by making sure that the http:// protocol and or the www. are typed do you
stop this error?

If so then you may have some parasites that make havoc with these settings.
