Browsing in Active Directory

Is there any way of splitting up computers into groups the
same way it could be done in windows nt? Specifcally I
know I can move computers into OUs but this is strictly
for admin, it does not allow users to browse for shares.
 
Could you elaborate on what you're trying to do? I don't follow how you want
to group the machines.
