Browser won't go to designated home page

Recently, my browser has refused to go to my home page
when I open Internet Explorer.

It's set for CNN.com but no matter what address I plug
into the Tools/Internet Options menu, the result is the
same.

I get the page: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?
srch=105&FORM=AS5&q=Internet+Explorer

I can't believe how bad MS's support is on products that
are poorly designed (let's start with Windows)...
