It is possible you may have parasites, spyware, adware,
malware, or hijackware on your system causing the problem.

I had this problem and the following worked for me:-
Internet Explorer
Tools menu
Internet Options
Advanced Tab
Browsing - uncheck the 'Enable third-party browser
extensions'
Restart

It may have worked by you have still infected.
The 3rd party browsing extension is need for some other good programs to
work.
Clean your computer and reset it.
Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions
If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
