Browser rejecting cookies

Several people including me have had the problem of not
being able to log on to bt.yahoo / e-bay etc.. without
the browser saying "not accepting cookies". Have tried
several things but to no avail.
Just been looking at the Norton Firewall settings & by
switching off the privacy setting, low & behold I can log
on everywhere !!
I had tried to disable the firwall prior to this but it
made no difference. You have to switch off the Privacy
Setting (Norton System Works - Personal Firewall -
Privacy Control - Enable Privacy)
Hope that might be of use to a few of you !!!

There are several new features built-in to IE 6, one of them is the ability
to accept and\or block any or all cookies if desired.
