browser not accepting cookies. ARGH!

While trying to log on to one of my favorite forums, I got this message:

Login Failed - Sorry, we could not log you in because your browser is not
accepting our cookies. Please enable cookie support and try again.

I have done everything I can think of to fix this. I go on this site daily,
just don't understand what the problem could be. I've deleted cookies,
cleared the history, adjusted security settings, "allowed" my computer to
accept cookies from the specific site. Didn't have this problem yesterday.
Help!

Try

In addition to what was already posted, either of these two steps has solved
similar problems to what you are seeing:

STEP #1
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy (tab) > Advanced (button)
UNcheck "Override automatic cookie handling
Click OK

STEP #2 (XP SP2 installed)
Right-click the URL for your "favorite forum" and select COPY
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy (tab) > Advanced (button)
Click the SITES button
Right-click in the edit box named "Address of Web site" and select paste
Click the ALLOW button
Click OK

If neither of these helps, you may want to disable any firewall(s) you have
running and try again.

Good luck.
