I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 with Windows XP, home edition and suddenly
today, whenever I open the browser the little box that you enter addresses
you want to browse has disappeared. I have done everything I know to do to
correct the problem but cannot restore the box in the toolbar area where you
enter an address, such as www.ebay.com.

Can anyone tell me how to restrore this box to my browser?

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.
