Browser Locks Up Workstation

I have an XP Pro machine that is working great as long as
the user stays off the internet. Anytime she tries
browsing using IE 6.0 everything locks up (happens at
different stages of browsing) and she has to restart her
machine. Any help would be great!!

It could be bad video drivers, or, considering what has been going on
lately, it could be this:

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

Angie,

You can go ahead and scan for Spyware and delete it, but
you'll still have this problem. So while this is a good
practice, it's not a solution.
