Browser Crash

I am using Windows XP home. SP1
700mb Ram
I often go to the Daily Show (comedycentral.com) and watch the videos.
Until recently I had no problem doing so. But now, whenever I try to watch
the video the browser crashes and closes after opening the player. There is
an error message.
In the case of IE it reads
ie.explore.exe Error ntdll.dll version 5.1.2600.1106
Error address 0x0002ad81
This happens in all three browsers I have, but there is not always a error
message.
IE 6/Opera and Firefox. In the case of Opera it just closes.
I updated to the latest Widows Media Player ( 10) (I was using WMP 9
before)but the same thing happens.
I have done nothing to my computer except changing the WMP. but the problem
still exists

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I have already done that.
But just for the record I found the answer
It is connected with the latest patch for IE
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (918899)

By following this workround the problem was solved
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
1. Start Internet Explorer 6.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click
the Advanced tab.
3. In the Settings box, click to clear the Use HTTP 1.1 check box under
HTTP 1.1 settings, and then click OK.
FYI

Either that or install SP2.

I see that Alias has answered this post and I agree with him you really
should upgrade to SP2.
