'Browse for Folder' dialog box is not showing the folders

I think it started to happen after I installed and uninstalled IE7.
Whenever a program displays a 'Browse for Folder' dialog, it shows the
box...but it shows only the outline of the dialog box, and not showing
the lists of the folders.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? It's not THAT critical, but it is
annoying as hell at times.
