Brodjump is software that gets installed when you use the
installation CD provided by certain ISP's. When AT&T was the
broadband provider around here they used that program to provide
automated support to their customers. I think vtruck.exe is used
to install the program.

If you're curious, go to www.broadjump.com.

Thanks Pats Fan... I'm just on a paranoid hunt for spy/mal ware that
probably isn't there...

Thanks again, Man. Seeing your name makes me crrrave Legal's Chowdah!

Hey again Pats Fan...

How about your thoughts on the following from hijackthis...

O17 -
HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{4E2E0274-3BA0-4F54-B4A2-02E2713157D8}:
NameServer = 205.152.132.235 205.152.37.254

O17=Domain Hijack??? WTF is this???

Still hunting with obviously nothing better to do... Now off Legal and
thinking frappe's in Chelmsford and subs on a "bulky" roll... OK, I'll
stop.... HA!

Have a good morning, Man...

Doesn't look like a problem. BellSouth is your ISP, right? Take a
look at this page from BellSouth support:

http://help.bellsouth.net/sdcuser/asp/dsl/default.asp

Note IP addresses 1 and 3. They're in the same subnet as the ones
shown in Hijack This. If you're concerned, contact BellSouth and
ask them if the IP addresses in question are their DNS servers.

Also, take a look here:

http://www.samspade.org/t/ipwhois?a=205.152.135.235
http://www.samspade.org/t/ipwhois?a=205.152.37.254

Have you read over the tutorial for Hijack This? Note that the
comments in the section for O17 start with the word "If".

If you have some questions regarding your log, you might want to
post it to one of these forums:

http://www.merijn.org/forums.html

If you're concerned about security, as long as you have a good
virus scanner and a reliable firewall (other than the one built
into Windows XP) in place, you should be fine. Putting a router
in between your machine and your modem isn't a bad idea either.
