your computer is only one of them. The first thing to do
is call your ISP their could be a problem with your line
This happened to me just two weeks ago and my ISP found
that squirrel's ate through one of the amplifiers down
the road from me. If that doesn't go anywhere try this
site out you can run an online scan of your computer here
as well as your internet connection

You don't say what kind of broad band service you have but in the case of
cable, the more people subscribed to the service in an area, the slower it
gets. I don't recall the term used for it, but it is like relays that serve
a given area and they can handle only so much. My area has oversold to the
point where I had to install a signal amplifier to even stay connected. My
suggestion is to contact your ISP and have them run on-line diagnostics to
determine what the problem is.
