Broadband modem dial-up problem

P

pcchong

After reinstalling (by repair) WinXP Pro, I reinstall the ADSL broadband
modem. However, I can't find the modem dial-up connection under Control
Group/Network connection. There is no problem in detecting the ADSL modem.
But everytime after installing the modem, it will report that a new network
device has been detected. But there is no such device. Please advise me how
I can solve this problem. Thanks.
