For some reason when going to the Cat 3.10 drivers..
Whenever I go into any OpenGL game such as Quake 3
Call Of Duty, Medal Of Honor...ect...
My brightness is very low..But when I touch the slider it will be bright as
ever..
However, If I close down the game and then go right back into it, the
brightness will be low again..
I have tried everything short of reinstalling windows to fix this..Any ideas

I get that with COD AAO, and 1 other I can't recall, on a 7500aiw and 9700p -3.9's- and its intermittent. One observation is, when
(and a BIG 'IF') I can come out of standby, and play, it happens ALWAYS. However, it does happen occasionally when standby has not
been in the scenario. Reinstalling windows did not fix it, but that's with Windows ME. Tried many things (1 being -avoiding
'standby') since this is the ONLY anomaly, I will not mess with the driver anymore, Capture/game play with the 7500 is outstanding
and game play with the 9700 is perfect. Its a little Annoying ain't it? ;^\

Brightness problem update..
When I set my desktop to 1280X1024
"the same res I use in my OpenGL games"
I no longer see this problem..
So, it seems there is an issue with this driver set and going from desktop
at one res. to an OpenGL game in a higher res.
Maybe this info might give you people some ideas as to how to fix this
problem.
I really dont want to run my desktop in 2180X....Thanks
