hi,

when using briefcase in xp professional, i find that
network documents that are read only, loose that attribute
when copied into the briefcase. is this correct or is
something going wrong?

Briefcase case gives you the ability to keep 2 different
copies of the same file in sync with each other. To be
able to do this, it must remove the read only option. It
has to have the ability to copy.
