Bridging Two NICs on WIN2K Pro

Seth Robinson

Hey,

I need to have my Win2K pro computer bridge two network
connections like I can on my XP Box. Is there a way to
do this with Windows 2k Pro? I can't do it with XP
because i need a machine without Terminal Services on it,
and I guess that its impossible to take TS off of an XP
machine!

Thanks,
Seth

You can disable the service, or make it so no one can access the system
remotely.

That would take care of it.

Hi!

But I'm still curious, is it possible like Seth
first asked?
Bridging in Win2K?

Best regards,
Andreas

in W2k you should be able to do it somewhat painlessly using the Routing and
Remote Access services. 2kPro might even have ICS, which would give you
similar functionallity. I have never had the need to use these services, so
I do not have intimate knowledge of them.
