Can anyone help? I have just purchased a new computer
from Tiny. Their support line at 50p a minute is a
disaster as you speak to and Asian chappy, probably
somewhere in the deepest regions of India. Their command
of the English language could be a lot better, especially
at 50p a minute.
The problem I have is as follows
When Windows XP loads up I get a message;-
Error Loading C:Windows/downloading program
files/Bridgedll
The specified module could not be found
I can not keep my home page. Ntlworld.com. It reverts to
Res://mshp.dll/index.html#37049. I spoke to Ntl help
line. They suggested I download 'spybot' and 'adaware' I
have done this and ran them but still the problem
continues.
Yesterday I visited ntl 'broadband medic'. An advisor
there run me through a few things but still failed to
rectify the problem. He then told me to go to System
Restore, but unfortunately it will not let me go back any
further than April 4th 2004. He then suggested it must be
a Windows problem and suggested I reload the disc.
Unfortunately the disk supplied by Tiny does not permit
me to load Windows XP
T
Also after visiting Outlook Express 6 I get a message:-
The instruction Ox77852106 refused memory at Ox009a50EO
The memory could not be written click OK to terminate the
program
Can anyone help please?
