I have a pie chart with 6 pieces. I want to break-out two but when I do I
want the 2 break-out pieces to stay connected. If there a way to do this?

Thank you for any help!!

One possibility would be to ungroup the chart. This will cause the loss
of embedded data and linked information, thus the chart would be
static. If this is acceptable then each slice of the pie chart can be
moved where it is needed. To get the desired shapes together, the Alt +
pressed left mouse button allows for more control of the slice
placement. Otherwise the item gets aligned with the 6 point by 6 point
grid on the slide.
This is using PPT2003, I believe it will work with earlier versions
also.
Good luck charting your trip through shapes, slides, and presentations.
