Branding issues

I built an image using Winlogon. It logs in automatically but you can still
see the login screens flicker before the desktop is shown. Also, it shows the
"Windows is shutting down..." message. I need to zap as many signs as
possible that the box is running XPe.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You could replace the whole GINA with a custom one. FrontMotion and
LogonStudio are a couple solutions: (http://www.frontmotion.com/ ,
http://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/)
