Bracket ()

On my Outlook 2003 in my contact phone numbers the area codes has () example
(787) 123-4545. I need to get rid of them in order to be able and use it on
my cellular or in my Outlook to dial the number. The system does not allow me
to use it because of the bracket.

Did any one know how to eliminate this bracket ( ) for my 2,000 contacts at
once?

You can't. Formatting of phone numbers in Outlook is hard coded.
