boxes are highlighted

i have a user that is using power point and as soon as she
clicks on something it highlights, doesn't matter where
her mouse goes after that, everything gets highlighted
until she gets out of power point
right clicking doesn't work neither does left clicking
highlighting just follows the arrow
has anybody had this problem before
email me if anybody finds the answer please

First thing I would try is updating the video driver. Visit the website of
the video card manufacturer, or the computer manufacturer and look for a
current driver for the version of Windows installed.
