Box disappears while dragging in PowerPoint 2007

N

newbie

Not sure if this is obvious -- I am a newbie. While dragging a box (e.g.,
text) that has the same background color as the chart (usually white), I
don't see a clear moving box (border or content). I only get a very faded
"ghost" rectangle that can only be seen when crossing dark text or lines.
This is extremely annoying because I cannot place the box precisely. Any
advice?

I'm afraid this is by desing, but you can change the view to grayscale, than
those objects are visible. After dragging all your boxes you can switch back
to color view. You find the grayscale under "View / Grayscale" and you back
with "Drawing Tools / Format / Close / Back to Color Views".
