does anybody know how to bounce back emails in outlook express
Stupid idea. Mailwasher has this feature, too, and yet it should also
not be used. A bounceback from your SMTP server is not the same that
you will attempt to emulate sometime later, so the recipient can
distinguish between real and bogus bounceback messages (and so you will
identify your e-mail address as valid and monitored to the spammer).
Spammers may not even use a valid e-mail address, or they will use a
bogus e-mail address. You waste more bandwidth and more Internet
resources sending a bounceback message that will never be seen by the
spammer. The bogus e-mail address may be a valid e-mail address so you
end up slamming an innocent regarding spam with which they were never
involved; i.e., in effect, you have become the spammer sending your
unsolicited "bounceback spam". You either tell the spammer they found a
valid and active e-mail address (so you energize MORE spam gets sent to
you) or you send off bouncebacks to e-mail addresses that you don't even
know are correct and will result in hitting innocents with your garbage.
Knock it off!!! Stop propagating the problem.
