Bottom double border not functioning properly

JIm Kirby

I have Excel 2002. I have placed a "bottom double
border" icon on my toolbar. When I click on that icon, I
get a "bottom border" which is a single border. I am,
however, able to format the cell with a bottom double
border if I use the cell format border function. I have
used the bottom double border icon successfully many
times in the past on other computers and with other
versions of Excel. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim Kirby

I vaguely remembered that, but tried it in Excel 2002 (10.5815.4219)
SP-2 before posting, and it's still broken.
Maybe I have one of those *special* versions.

But it's been addressed in one of the service releases.

Debra reported that it was still broken in SR1 in this thread:

But I just tried it in SP2 and it works ok.

That is the version that I'm using and it works ok for me.

Gord Dibben (in that thread) posted this:

I have installed FP2003 and Publisher2003. Either of them could have swatted
the bug.

But I don't use either of those--never installed, never upgraded them.
