I was updating my website's contact info with my new email when I saw that I
had to disable cookies to allow the log-in. I tried a few different times to
do that, and finally redid to to allow ALL cookies in. I re-logged into that
site and took care of what I needed to... but now I can't get that small
symbol back in the lower bar a box or two next to the globe-Internet logo.

I remember the setting was Medium, or Medium-high (not low-medium though),
but I can't find in Internet Options/security where to configure back to
where it was before, to get that small symbol back (I've set sites to Medium,
but the symbol still remains gone). In fact, since I disabled that function,
I get a small box popping up sometimes saying "The information you send may
be visible to others on the internet" or something similiar.

I hope I'm not being too confusing with what I'm asking :)

Thanks in advance.

Wrong Options tab. You want the Privacy tab, Advanced dialog.
Use the Privacy Report to get it open: Alt-V,v Alt-S,v
