In Excel 2000, how do I make borders in a color other than black? Like 25%
gray for example? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Select the cell(s) on which you want the border
2. Choose Format>Cells
3. Select the Border tab
4. Select a colour from the dropdown list
5. Select a line style
6. Use the Preset borders, or click in the Borders diagram
to add the borders to the selected cells.
7. Click OK

The border method is great but you must format every cell.
For the entire worksheet use Tool|Options, open the View tab and set
required colour in Gridline Color box.
