Border on Booklet print

I have created a booklet which is printing fine, except that there is a
border around the page and down the centre. I am printing to a Xerox 250
printer.
This border doesn't show up in print preview.
How can I remove this?

Many users have reported this problem, and, AFAIK, there is no known
solution, as it appears to be a printer issue. If this is Word 2007,
however, you might try saving the document in Word 97-2003 format to see if
that helps.

Another possibility might be to output to PDF and print the PDF.
There are free PDF tools available such as PrimoPDF if you don't have
Acrobat or Word 2007.
