bootvis wont stop tracing and disk gets eaten

Even after I removed bootvis from my system it continues to create a trace
log which eats disk space until it's all gone. I reinstalled bootvis to stop
the tracing but that doesnt seem to help. It spontaneously beings tracing
again even with no explicit command. Is there a registry entry that controls
this? Ideas as to how to proceed?

Just run regedit and do a search for bootvis and delete all instances.
