Bootsector virus

Hi,

I dont know if i'm in the right place now to ask this, but
can anyone please help me with the following;

I have a virus in my bootsector. it's called "anti-win95
(b)" (must be there for some time) I think it's causing my
(win2000) pc to crach every half hour.

What should i do to remove this virus?

Any time you have suspicious activity like that, run antivirus with the
latest virus definitions. Once you identify a virus, if the antivirus tool
can not remove it automatically, go to one of the anti virus vendors
websites such as http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and search for the
virus name for instructions. A search of Google may also prove
lpful. --- Steve
