Booting from USB attached diskette drive

I need to install raid sata drivers from diskette during the windows xp
setup process. The message prompts for a diskette in drive "A".

Can I use a USB attached diskette drive in place of the standard ribbon
cable attached diskette?

thanks,

-Steve

Hi Stephen

If you have an USB FDD (Flexible Disk Drive).
Of course you can...
As if were connected internally to your PC or Laptop, but a bit slower.

As long as your motherboard's BIOS supports such USB devices during
boot-up, certainly.
