Hi
Hope some can help please.
I have two computers running xp one has decided not to boot up. I have put
this hd into a external caddy to try and read it but says disk not formated.
Now I know I could format it but it contains quite a few backups which I
require. Is there any way that I can get it to boot
Any suggestions would be helpful
Thanks
Lady

Either the boot sector and part of the file table is corrupt, or your
hard drive is failing. I would suggest getting some data recovery
tools if you want to save the data on the drive. Also, the
manufacturer for your hard drive should have some diagnostic tools you
can obtain from their web site for free to test the drive to see if it
is failing/defective.

Hope that helps =)
