Boot Virus

I have a boot virus (Boot.malmo). My Norton anti-virus does detect, but cannot remove it. What should I do?

Boot the computer from the xp cd when prompted press R to go to repair mode,
at the c:\windows> prompt, type "fixmbr" and press enter. you'll get a
warning message which you can accept, and that's it. Just reboot the system
