Boot up

Computer will not XP boot to XP. Worked fine last night. I have no answers. HELP!!
 
I posted a similar question and seem to be having the
same problem today. You may want to keep an eye on my
post (under Dawna in Accessibility and General) to see if
someone provides additional info that you may be able to
use.

We need more information. There can be many reasons for this. What error
messages do you see? What exactly happens when you try to boot?
 
Harry, nothing happens. Red light comes on for a few seconds, hard drive attempts to boot then stops. Nothing displayed on monitor.
