I reformatted the hard drive on my fathers HP pavillion. Eveything went well
other than when we turn on the computer now, we immediatly get a screen that
asks which version of windows xp home to boot to. If we wait 30 seconds it
boots into the first highlited version which is ok. My question? How do I
eliminate that screen?
THANKS

nine2lou,

Right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings under the header
'Startup & Recovery' > uncheck 'Time to display list of operating systems',
OK.
