Boot problem

My shuttle machine has a boot problem. Press the power on, fan goes to top
speed cd spin; hard disk spins, but it does not boot, no beeps, no display,
press reset and differing number of times and sometimes complete power off
at mains and eventually it will boot. Used to happen occassionally but now
more so. Any ideas

I had the same symptoms when my caps went bad on me. Open up your box and
inspect the capacitors, look for bulged tops, or at worse, leaks. You can

Check all cables and memory.Reseat all.
