boot.ini

Hi Alex, I am not getting anywhere with the repair\rebuilding of boot.ini
with the attrib command. Windows can recognize the lines, attrib -h -r -s
boot.ini; del c:\boot.ini; boot cfg/rebuild.
I have an invalid boot.ini yet the computer still functions well. What's the
deal? Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks to all.

As long as your OS is installed on the C drive, it will boot even if there
is no boot.ini file present at all. Anyway, what, exactly is wrong with your
boot.ini file?
