pls help me about this my mistake
i am using win-98 and win-xp
by my mistake boot.ini file is courrputed
so my o.s.(win-xp or win98) can not started
how can i restore this boot.ini file without start of any operating
systeam

Install Windows 98 after XP is Installed.

Boot your computer with the Windows XP installation CD.
Choose the Repair (Recovery Console) option.

When the computer has finised booting to the Recovery Console and has
stopped at the command prompt enter the following command:

BOOTCFG /REBUILD

That will create a new boot.ini file for you.
